Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 2026-04-29

This page describes how to delete your AI4CA account data and any data we received from third-party integrations such as Facebook (Meta), Google, or Telegram. Required by Meta's Platform Terms for any app that uses Facebook Login.

What gets deleted

When you request deletion, we remove:

We retain (as required by law): financial transaction records — minimum 8 years per Income Tax Act, 1961; service logs after IP-anonymization — up to 90 days.

How to request deletion

Choose any one method:

1. From the dashboard (fastest)

Sign in at app.ai4ca.in → Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, deletion begins within 24 hours and completes within 30 days.

2. By email

Send an email to depen337@gmail.com from the email address registered on your account, with the subject line:

Account Deletion Request — [Your Email]

Include: your full name as registered; the email address on the account; (optional) the reason for deletion. We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

3. Facebook-specific deletion (Meta requirement)

If you used Sign in with Facebook and want to remove only the Facebook-related data we collected (your Facebook user ID, name, email, profile photo, and any Page access tokens), without deleting your full AI4CA account:

You can also revoke the Facebook integration directly from Facebook:

  1. Open facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
  2. Find "AI4CA"
  3. Click "Remove"

This severs the OAuth grant on Meta's side. We receive a deauthorization callback per Meta's requirements and delete the associated tokens within 30 days.

Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when:

  1. Your deletion request is received (within 7 days)
  2. Your data has been deleted (within 30 days)

The confirmation will include a Deletion Reference ID you can quote in any follow-up correspondence.
